Phyllis IreneINGLISAndrew and Donna want to thank everyone who passed on their kind words and cards of condolence they received when their mum Irene passed away. They were very grateful to be supported by all the friends and family who attended Irene's celebration of life service where happy memories of her lifetime as a special mum, sister, sister-in-law, aunty, granny, nana Irene, great aunty, great granny and friend were shared.
Much appreciation to Callum Watson, the piper who started and closed the service beautifully. Thanks also for the kind donations which raised over £250.00 to be shared between Lochduhar and Mountainhall Day Centre.
They were overwhelmed by the wonderful support of the care team at Lochduhar who looked after Irene and came out to pay their heartfelt respects to her funeral cortege and thanks go to those old neighbours and friends in Lochside Road who also stood outside Irene's old addresses as they passed by.
Thanks go to Mark Jardine for delivering a lovely service, and thanks to Russell, Tracy, Callie and Julie of Jardine Funeral Directors who provided support and small but significant touches to make Irene's farewell as exceptional as possible. The flowers thoughtfully provided by Passion Flowers were personal and special to Irene and her family.
Finally, thanks to Karen and Clayton and their team at the Former Baptist Church, Newall Terrace for the refreshments giving a welcoming space and lovely food to chat about many happy memories of Irene's life.
